The origins of L'Alqueria go back to a small town on the coast of Valencia, where the winds spread the Mediterranean scent of orange blossom and orchard provides the finest cuisine of the Levant.
In L'Alqueria de la Comptessa grew Marola, seduced from small alchemy of the kitchen of his home, where the stations of the year marked the taste of the rice, and every meal was a feast.
The passion for cooking brought Marola to Girona area and chance would have it, she met Joan, professional in restoration, whom she encouraged in this project. Since 2007, smoke pots spread the home smell of Valencian rice cooked as has always been in Gandia.
We want our corner to be a small embassy of Valencian cuisine in Girona, and make you feel at home.
